Bacchus was established in 1987 originally as the import arm of a large Canadian produce wholesaler.  The Canadian company was sold to Fresh America in 1998, when the companies name was changed to Bacchus Fresh International and continued operations until current management, Robert Jajkowski and David Esterline purchased the company from Fresh America in 2001.  The business has since grown from primarily an importer of Grapes, Chestnuts, Clementines, and Deciduous fruits into an importer / distributor / growers agent of premium fruits with world-wide sourcing from over 12 countries spanning the Citrus, Deciduous, and Tropical categories.  With offices in Chicago and New York Metro Area, Bacchus Fresh International continues to sell Nationwide through its offices and strategic alliances.  As one of the pioneers in the importation and distribution of Spanish Clementines, Bacchus enjoys a reputation for quality, consistency, and integrity among its customers and suppliers as well as in the trade.  Bacchus recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of serving the produce industry with excellent quality products and outstanding customer service!
